Martha has managed our beach cottage since we purchased it. She does a GREAT job with bookings, cleanings, and supplies. Her staff always does a wonderful job cleaning after every guest. Martha has always received 5-star reviews since we began using her. She is close by if needed and keeps us up to date with anything if the need arises. As you can tell, we are glad we have her managing our cottage.

Martha’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was just the right amount of distance away from the hustle and bustle of in town so that we could enjoy the peace and quiet by day and exploration at night! We had a 4 year old who already wants to come back next year (as well as everyone else). We have been to Gulf Shores three times now and this house was by far the prettiest with the most accommodations! Martha came with a lot of suggestions and had charts and lists that were so helpful when planning for this trip. Martha was also quick to respond and very helpful when we had questions about certain things that occurred before and during the trip. Our family of 8 had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back in the future!

This is absolutely the BEST vacation spot. The pool was a much better idea for the kids. We enjoyed the beach but we definitely preferred the pool. Beachhouse 6031 is right next to the pool so the kids could swim while I enjoyed the oasis on the back porch. Perfect house, perfect location and absolutely perfect hostess. Ms Martha was fantastic. THANK YOU for the golf cart it was a HUGE hit...the gkids and furbaby loved it. Definitely a GREAT investment. Rookery 3 is definitely a 10 star hit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You just can’t beat it. We rented a golf cart for our stay in June. It was so convenient. Martha and her team did everything. The cart was there when we arrived. It was beautiful and it worked perfectly. The price was excellent for what we got. I can’t tell you how many strangers complimented us on our cart. We will definitely do it again!

The house was cute, mostly clean aside from a few bugs (which is somewhat expected in a tropical area), and located in a peaceful neighborhood just a short drive—about two minutes—from the beach. While the listing is labeled as Gulf Shores, it’s technically in Fort Morgan, which is worth noting for future guests. Martha, the host, was a pleasure to meet in person. She was kind and welcoming, and even offered us early check-in at no extra charge, which was generous (we ended up arriving after the normal time). I also really enjoyed hearing about the fairy garden she’s working on—such a charming touch. Martha truly seems like a thoughtful host, and I don’t believe this stay is reflective of all the properties she manages. We appreciated her follow-up after our stay and may take her up on her offer to try one of her other homes in the future. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. We paid around $1,600 for five nights, and after booking, found similar or lower-priced beachfront listings in the area with more amenities. The listing describes the home as a “hidden gem” that offers more than most, but it felt more budget-level in reality—something not clearly mentioned upfront. We booked for five adults, but the home came with just a “starter set” of essentials: one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and two laundry pods. Only one bathroom had shampoo and conditioner, and no coffee pods were provided. We’ve stayed in homes that cost less than $50 per night and were better stocked. Since guests are asked to wash and dry all beach towels, robes, and dishes before a 9:00 AM checkout (which is earlier than most), a few extra basics like detergent would go a long way. The cleaner also arrived early and waited outside as we packed up, which made things feel a little rushed. We also had two separate maintenance issues. One involved the grinder pump, which was resolved the next day. Later, we were told someone would be coming to change the air filter with little notice. As a mom, I wasn’t comfortable with men entering while my daughters were home alone. We responded within 10 minutes saying we were heading back and never told them not to come—in fact, we rearranged our day just in case—but the visit was canceled anyway. We later learned the filter had already been changed but not noted, which created unnecessary confusion. Lastly, the bunk beds were built from raw, unfinished wood with no sanding or sealing, which led to some splinters for my kids. A little polish here would really improve the comfort and safety. Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible—it had its perks—and with a few tweaks, this home could be a much more comfortable option. We truly appreciated Martha’s kindness and communication, and we hope this feedback is helpful in making the experience even better for future guests.

Our host Martha was extremely helpful and very responsive. She provided so many recommendations for our stay. We rented a golf cart and highly suggest you do the same as it makes getting around so much nicer, especially if you have a big family with children! The home was so cozy and clean! We will Be back! Great location and amenities!

An amazing house. Everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Got a block and a half from the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I would definitely recommend you staying at Sea la Vie rentals. Martha, the host, was always responsive when we had questions. I took my two daughters, my four grandchildren, and my granddaughter’s two friends with me and we all had an amazing time.

The home was great!! It was perfect for our family. Nice open floor plan. The kids loved the bunk room. The beach toys and supplies were a great touch. It was not too far from the beach. We also loved the pools.
